It’s Aries time and it’s my birthday month!! I’ll be a 33 and yes, I feel it more mentally than I do anything else. I’ve been at that point in my life when I would like to (and deserve to) just focus on me and my work. The outside noise and chatter of others shouldn’t matter when it comes to what brings me peace and makes me happy.
What are my birthday plans today?! Well…thank you for asking lol.
Shopping. Escape room. Food. In that order and then back home to do secret project edits and cuddle with my family. If you don’t know me then understand that I love escape rooms with my entire heart. I’ve done over 200 in multiple different states. One of my goals is to do one overseas, so fingers crossed!

WHAT’S NEW?!
The secret project is done and dev edits are back with me! I’ve been working on them here and there and honestly, I feel like my writing has improved tremendously because the dev edits weren’t too bad!
I’ve been slowly but surely, teasing this project which has made me immensely happy, but it does bring on varying levels of anxiety. I love this story with my whole heart but of course, the imposter syndrome monster comes in and makes me believe that I will be the only one who enjoys it.
No worries. I can deal with this AND you will be getting this story. Along with the other three in this interconnected standalone series.
One detail I will share. It’s a paranormal-lite CONTEMPORARY. I love contemporary and taboo romances. I love paranormal. I just never really considered that one day I would find myself writing something like this, but I always think back to when I would go shopping with my mom and I wouldn’t like something on a hanger, but when I put it on…I LOVED IT.
And…I’ve been thinking about creating a separate substack to learn all the new things about this series. An entire newsletter dedicated to the series that is easily stealing my attention.
