Cover Design with A.R. Grosjean

I'm Amber aka A.R. Grosjean, and I pretty much write everything that is clean, with the exception of a word or two (cussing in some books). Genres, I write include fantasy, romance, mystery, horror coming soon, paranormal, thriller, science fiction, women's fiction, non-fiction (some), children's as well as YA and NA. 

It's very important, which is why I am always learning. It's the first thing the readers see.

It's challenging because no one really knows how to confirm rights. I don't use AI for my covers so locating the pictures has gotten harder because it's growing and half of the pictures I've seen have been made through AI.

I use Amazon's template so the artwork and titles are in the proper places and won't get cut off when Amazon prints the book. I layer each item to put on the template so when changes are made, nothing has to be redone. I start with a background picture and then add a foreground picture. Then I add in the title and author name, each on different layers. Then I work on the spine and backmatter. My covers are free since I am still learning. I've done over 50 covers so far. I write full-time and make my own covers as well. I also work part-time. I love to crochet, watch TV, and play games.
