Hello, little solar-powered sea creatures!
We are still moving through the afterglow of the Summer Solstice, which means we are collectively sitting with one of the great paradoxes of zodiac lore: why da fuq does the season of maximum sunlight begin in Cancer, a water sign ruled by the Moon? Shouldn’t the longest days of the year belong to Leo? And what does that mean for you?
It’s tea, honey!!!! And that’s exactly what we talk about today in my podcast, AstroloTea with Aliza Kelly—so be sure to tune in now! Also, your horoscope is served!!!

Cancer season reminds us that abundance comes in many shapes and forms—including emotional safety. And this week, that’s exactly what the astrology wants us to explore. The question isn’t whether you’re moving forward. You are! Most certainly! The question is whether you’re building from a foundation that can actually support where you’re trying to go—and that’s why we need a chariot, divas. Something that can offer multiple layers of security. Get thy horoscope right here.
June 25th: Venus trines Saturn at 8:02 AM ET
Not all love stories are dramatic. Not all success stories happen overnight. And not all meaningful connections arrive with fireworks and cinematic music swelling in the background. Venus in Leo trine Saturn in Aries reminds us that consistency is also a form of passion. It’s edging, baby! And that’s hot, too!
This transit favors long-term thinking, as relationships become more stable, creative projects gain structure, and financial decisions ground down into reality. Because TANC (There Are No Coincidences), this transit beautifully echoes the Cancer season lesson that the first step to anything is embracing support. Every masterpiece needs a framework! Every dream needs a plan! Every athlete needs a cheerleader! Venus and Saturn remind us that what lasts isn’t necessarily what arrives fastest; it’s what receives enough care to grow strong roots.
June 25th: Sun squares Neptune at 6:38 PM ET
Building on the energy of Venus and Saturn, the Sun square Neptune in Aries, illuminating that most important line between fantasy and reality. This doesn’t mean you should throw out the magic; quite the opposite! In fact, I suggest that—under this sky—you embody one of the lesser-discussed aspects of the Cancerian archetype: a sideways walk. If something feels confusing right now—or if you feel stuck in a situation that isn’t progressing the way you hoped it would—maybe it’s time to find a new way to move. Rather than approach it head-on, perhaps shift your vantage?
Hey, if the crabs can do it, why can’t you?
June 28th: Mars sextiles Jupiter at 12:50 AM ET
Then, Mars—at the final degree of Taurus—forms a supportive sextile to Jupiter at the final degree of Cancer. It’s the end of the line for our year-long Jupiter in Cancer story, friends! And the fact that Jupiter’s final act is a positive alignment with Mars… it’s stunning. Truly. Here, you’re being asked to consider what would you attempt if you trusted that you were fully and completely supported?
You’ve spent the past year building a stronger foundation, tending to your beautifully complex roots, and figuring out new ways to care for yourself. Right? Oh, you haven’t? That’s okay too! This is, perhaps, that final hour push you’ve been waiting for—the moment that you can actually see what the purpose of Jupiter in Cancer has been for YOU. What is the central story? What were the primary lessons? I’ll go deeper into your Jupiter in Cancer journey next week in AstroloTea, as well, so be sure to follow now so you can get ready for the big tea coming your way.
June 28th: Mars enters Gemini at 3:29 PM ET
And then suddenly everything gets… silly?!?! Mars enters Gemini and the energy shifts dramatically. After taking things very personally during Mars movement through Cancer, Mars’ shift into Gemini wants experimentation. It wants curiosity. It wants to laugh!!!! For the next several weeks, action happens through ideas, questions, and remembering that life is literally ridicilous. Sure, anger can be a great motivator… but so can humor. Over the next few weeks, consider what it would mean for you to inject some wackiness back into your life. I mean, literally why not?! What do you have to lose? What the fuq are we even doing here? Tee-hee!!!
Oh, and don’t forget to check your horoscope to find out what it all means for you!! LOVE YOU! xoxoxoxo
