July Drop 005 wrapped up (thank you). New apparel is here, the August iPhone wallpaper is live, and I'm off to Indonesia for a few weeks of surfing and painting.

Hey friends!

Wrapping up July over here in NYC as I finish packing my board bags for Indonesia. By the time you read this, I’ll probably be somewhere over Africa in route to Singapore, wondering why I packed so many paint supplies.

Before heading out, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who supported the July 005 Drop. This collection was a little different for me. Instead of surf scenes or travel moments, I spent the month painting everyday life here in New York City. People walking to work. Quiet corners. Moments that usually pass by unnoticed.

Stepping outside my usual subject matter was refreshing, and honestly reminded me why I love painting in the first place. Finding something beautiful in ordinary moments.

Thank you to everyone who picked up a painting, shared the collection, or simply followed along. It means more than you know.

While I was in the studio, I was also working on something I’ve been wanting to bring back for a while... apparel.

The samples finally arrived, and I’m stoked with how they turned out. It’s been a long time since I’ve released clothing, and this feels like the beginning of making it a bigger part of the shop again.

August is shaping up to be a fun month.

I’ll be spending the next few weeks surfing, painting, and filling another sketchbook in Indonesia. Last trip I finished an entire book of ideas that eventually became paintings back in the studio. I’m curious to see what catches my eye this time around.

When I get back, I’ve got a handful of exciting projects lined up that I’ll finally be able to share.

Lastly, I added the free August iPhone wallpaper below :)

Highlights:

New Apparel!

I'm excited to finally bring apparel back to the shop.

Leading the release is the return of one of my favorites, the Mermaid Gang sweatshirt. This time it's printed on a beautiful mineral-colored heavyweight French terry that somehow manages to be ridiculously cozy without feeling bulky.

Alongside it are two new heavyweight tees.

A Day to Reflect takes one of my favorite prints and brings it onto a shirt for the first time. The colors absolutely pop on white.

The second is Kamakura, inspired by this year’s Greenroom Festival in Japan. The original festival shirts sold out on the first day, and so many people asked if they’d ever come back. Rather than reproduce it exactly, I wanted to make it its own piece by changing the back graphic to celebrate Kamakura, one of Japan’s legendary surf towns and a place that left a huge impression on me.

Both shirts are printed on heavyweight 6.5 oz cotton and finished with my signature Alimo woven neck label.

I honestly can’t wait to see people wearing these.

Indonesia surf trip

After two years since my last Indonesia surf trip, we're all heading there again. Ten friends and I are off to the airport tonight to spend a few weeks out at sea. After this trip, we were all so hyped we booked it years out. It was a trip of a lifetime, and honestly so excited for round two. I’ll share more photos when I get back and of course, on IG stories. The photo below is the boat we are staying on chasing waves!

While I’m out in NYC, the journey to get there is pretty wild. This will be my first world tour on an airplane. I head to Ethiopia first > Singapore > Indo. On my way back I land in SF > NYC. Two days of travel and a 10-hour boat ride to get to the islands. No joke! Cannot wait!

I also bleached my hair again for fun and am bringing a batch to pressure everyone else to do it. LOL

Over and out! Thanks for reading and following along.

Talk soon friends :)
