What a month.
June has been full of cabin trips, NYC events, and last week I flew back home to Oregon for a family reunion. I got back late last night feeling tired, happy, and refreshed. I love family time, and it was really nice to slow down for a bit.
On top of that, I’ve been getting the next Open Studios release ready.
The June Drop opens Monday, June 29 at 12 pm ET with 9 new original paintings.
I missed May because of Greenroom Festival, so I’m extra excited to get these monthly drops rolling again. This one is a little bigger than usual, and all 9 paintings came out of my Indonesia surf trip not too long ago.
The drop will be open for 48 hours only. After that, the collection closes.

Family reunion recap from Oregon
This collection was created after a surf trip out in Indonesia. My friends and I stayed on a boat for two weeks surfing our brains out. In between sessions, I'd paint in my sketchbook. When I got back home, these paintings were born. It was one of the best trips of my life.

This past week, I flew back home to Oregon to kick it with the fam.
We had our annual family reunion, where everyone gets together on a family farm to catch up, relax, fish, hang out by the river, and soak up some sun. It ruled.
I don’t get to see my extended family very often, so it was really cool to have everyone in one place. On top of the reunion, my mom and I did some painting at home, and I got quality time with my dad and brother.
A very good reset before getting back into studio mode.
