Welcome to Week 9 of 75 Soft ~ Financial Calm
Financial Calm
This week, we are turning our attention to a very overlooked area that quietly shapes our sense of stability and safety: our finances.
Money is deeply connected to our nervous system. When finances feel unclear or unpredictable, the brain often interprets that uncertainty as a threat. But calm awareness can begin to replace that tension with clarity.
This week is not about strict budgeting or dramatic financial changes. It’s simply about gently bringing your finances into the light so they feel more manageable and less overwhelming.
As always, continue your five foundational rhythms. On top of those, we’re adding two practices focused on financial awareness and calm.
Your Week 9 Rhythms:
Rhythm 1: Financial Awareness
Download a financial tracking app (suggestions in the downloadable guide) and connect your accounts so you can begin seeing a clear picture of your finances in one place. This week is simply about observation, not analysis or change.
Rhythm 2: Financial Check-In (“Money Date”)
Set aside a short 10–20 minute window this week to gently review your finances and notice any patterns in spending, bills, or subscriptions. If it feels manageable, identify one small “financial leak” you could address.
This week isn’t about radically changing your finances. It’s about bringing clarity to an area many of us quietly avoid looking at closely. Ignoring a problem often feels easier than acknowledging it, but that avoidance can create a surprising amount of background stress. When you begin to see your finances clearly, that uncertainty often softens into something far more manageable.
You’ll find the full explanation of this week’s rhythms and your reflection prompt inside the guide.
