Saturday, September 20th, is the 9th Annual Open Farm Day!
Once a year, the farmers and makers along Pleasants Valley Road throw open their gates and invite you—the community—to meet your local farmers.
This year, four farms are hosting Open Farm Day: Morningsun Herb Farm, Brazelton Ranch, Summerfield Cattle Ranch, and Soul Food Farm. At each stop, you’ll meet local farmers and makers sharing the very best of what they grow and create: organic vegetables, handmade jams, flowers, wool and fiber projects, local beef, and more.
And for a special treat, Summerfield Cattle Ranch will be offering hayrides throughout the day.
Spend the day in the valley, support your farmers and neighbors, and help us grow low-impact agritourism that sustains local agriculture.
