A Small Thank You from the Farm

The Dirt Beneath My Feet · Alexis’s Substack

Spring on a farm always feels a little exciting.

There is still so much to do, but also that familiar pull to begin again makes me happy. The gates open, the Farmstand comes back to life, flowers are blooming, and the long rhythm of the season begins.

I wrote last week about the Farmstand reopening with fresh produce, jam, olive oil, and honey on the shelves, and our first chicken workshop of the season on May 3rd. This morning, I wanted to follow up with something more important, just a simple thank you.

This farm only works because people choose to support small agriculture in real ways. Every bottle of olive oil, every bouquet, every workshop ticket, every membership, and every visit to the Farmstand helps keep this place going.

Over the last few days, so many of you have signed up again for Farm memberships, and I cannot tell you how much that means. It reminded me that people are paying attention, that they care, and that this little farm community we have built is real.

As a small thank you to our supporter members, we are offering a $10 coupon to be redeemed at the Farmstand during the month of May. If you have already renewed your membership this season, this includes you too.

If you have been thinking about joining, this is a good time to become part of our farm community and support the season ahead. You can use this direct link to be part of the Farm Farm Members

Show the coupon on your phone or bring a printed copy when you visit Soul Food Farm. The Farmstand hours begin May 2nd and then every Thursday, Friday and Saturday after that. It is a simple way to say thank you for helping carry the farm through the quieter winter months and into a new season.

I hope you will come by and visit us. Stay for a while, walk through the olive orchard, bring a coffee, and let the farm be part of your week.

Thank you for believing in this farm with us.
