After spending the majority of the past seven years traveling across Europe, I’m always getting asked “Where should I go if I want…” good food, beautiful beaches, fewer crowds, a romantic weekend, etc. This series is where I’m sharing the honest advice I’d give a friend, starting with my home: the French Riviera.
Whether you want to lounge on the beach all day, eat your way along the coast, or experience the famous French Riviera glamour, these are the places I’d actually send you based on what you care about most.
If they want glamour and beach parties
Saint-Tropez all day: If they want the glossiest version of the South of France; beach clubs, expensive lunches, boats, dancing, and napkins swinging in the air, it has to be Saint-Tropez. I wouldn’t send someone there if they’re on a budget, but if this is the vibe you want, Saint-Tropez is where you’ll find it.
