Paid subscriber giveaway: the snail dustpan

When I started paid subscriptions to this Substack, I was pretty floored with the response. Folks that have decided to willingly shell out $6 a month to read my words are precious little flowers, and there are many more of you than I thought there would be.

Special flowers deserve nice things, and I want to shower you all with appreciation. So at the end of the month on August 31, I’m going to choose a paid subscriber at random to win my snail dustpan.

For the unfamiliar, I made this dustpan back in March. It spent the summer at Peter’s Valley School of Craft in their gallery of teacher work, and now it’s back in my hands to give away to a ride or die.

It’s a really goofy experimental project that I enjoyed a heck of a lot— I’ll be making another one for a Big Fancy Magazine shoot early next year. Having it go to a supporter would make me very happy. The winner just has to promise to use it and get it all dinged up :-)
