Another old notated postcard. This one seems to be from the same traveller as the one in my previous post, but two years later. Both refer to ‘Bill and I’, both are from travels through the British Columbia interior and, according to my own expert eye, both are written with the same hand, this one slightly older. Enjoy.

<postcard note> July 21, 1976 Water Lilies at Dutch Lake. Warm water & lovely setting. Bill& I Stayed in camper on hill.This is<poem>This is. . . enough. I’ll stop before I ruin things with too much. I’m just grateful it’s midsummer the lilies are out the water is just right, not too cold, the scenery just fine, and our camper is up a hill, just far enough, not too close to bother the other folks on holiday, down in their campers, making their own efforts to hold on.
