Sometimes I feel like (certain) social media is not for me.

I spend too much time scrolling. Instagram, Twitter, Threads, TikTok, and whatnot — the content is engineered to be compelling: short, surprising, endlessly replenishing. And yet, more often than not, it leaves me feeling hollow. Maybe that’s exactly what doomscrolling captures: Doom.
