Wallahi you don’t meet people by accident So why does Allah let you love someone who was never meant to stay?

We like to believe life is random because randomness feels easier to control emotionally. If things are accidental, then we never have to ask deeper questions about meaning, timing, or divine orchestration.

But one of the most unsettling realizations in life is this:

Every human is a portal. Not in the mystical, fantasy way people think but in the terrifyingly real way.Every person you allow close to you opens a doorway into: a new way of thinking, new emotional state, new habit, new worldview, new spiritual condition

Some people walk into your life and suddenly you pray more, Others enter and your soul becomes louder with anxiety, comparison, distraction, sin, confusion. That is not coincidence.Human beings transfer states to each other constantly.

The Qur’an even warns about companionship because hearts absorb.

First, understand this. Falling in love is not a sin. Allah placed the capacity for love inside every human being.

"And He placed between you affection and mercy."

Qur'an 30:21

That feeling, that pull toward another person, is not a mistake. It is not Shaytan. It is fitrahWhat matters is what you do with it. Allah allows it because the heart needs to learn things the mind cannot teach it alone.

You fell for someone who wasn't meant for you and through that you learned what you truly value.

What you actually need. What love feels like when it's real & what it costs when it isn't right.

That education as painful as it is was preparing your heart for the love that was actually written. Sometimes Allah places a feeling in your heart not as a destination but as a direction.

The love you felt for that person, the qualities you admired, the connection you experienced, was showing you what to look for in the one who is actually yours.

You weren't supposed to stay there. You were supposed to learn there.

Ibn al Qayyim said:

"The heart on its journey to Allah is like a bird, love is its head, and fear and hope are its wings."

Love, even misdirected love, can become the thing that drives you toward Allah.

The pain of loving someone you cannot have, has sent more people to sujood than comfort ever did. Your heartbreak may have been the beginning of your closest season with Allah.

Was it?

Allah did not allow you to fall so that you would stay fallen. He allowed it because He is

Al Hakeem, the All Wise And wisdom does not waste experiences. It uses them.

Every feeling. Every tear. Every du'a you made for someone who wasn't written for you, was building something in you.

A depth. A softness. A readiness.

For the love that actually is.

If this found you in the middle of it, know that Allah did not allow you to feel this without a reason. The same heart that ached for the wrong one is being prepared for a love so right you'll understand every painful moment that led to it.

Trust Him with it.

He has always been more careful with your heart than you have.

Alhamdulillah for what came.

Alhamdulillah for what left.

Alhamdulillah for what is still written
