Airmail fully supports 3D Touch on iOS, from home-screen shortcuts to message previews. Here is how to use it.

3D Touch is fully utilized in the Airmail app for iOS. Here is how it can be used.

3D Touch Shortcuts

  1. Press firmly and hold the Airmail icon on the home screen. This reveals four shortcut options.

  2. Tap a shortcut to activate that action.

  3. Airmail opens, ready to use the chosen action.

Message Preview

  1. To preview a message, tap and hold any message in the Message List (Inbox). A window appears with the message preview.

  2. While holding, swipe upwards to reveal message options. The options currently available are Snooze, Reply, and Trash.

  3. Release your hold to exit the preview.
