I feel like this is the best time to be alive! Most people have talent, they are capable of doing things, but they don’t get opportunities or don’t know how to utilize their talent. But sometimes things just fall into place and turn in their favor.
What the hell I’m talking about… I’m talking about the vitamin M(money), I’m talking about the people who grabbed the opportunity to make money and figured out how their past knowledge helped them make money using chatGPT and AI.
You could’ve maybe read somewhere or watched youtube videos about how to make money using chatGPT, but I’ve never. Because I know that’s just clickbait. But with some effort and a little bit of luck, it’s possible!
There are a lot of ways people are making money using chatGPT, like finding unclaimed money, buying an app, email affiliate marketing, creating videos with chatGPT, writing e-Books and selling them, freelancing, and creating content.
These work for some people, but only for those who like doing this again and again. but I’m not going to talk about all of them.
Here’s what I’m going to talk about:
People using chatGPT to secretly work multiple jobs!
How Ihor Stefurak built a Chrome extension using chatGPT and made $1000 within 24 hours!
There is a lot of news about this. An online marketer named “Ben” says “chatGPT was the only reason he got a second job, and it does 80% of his job!”.
A Tech worker says “it allowed him to go from two jobs to four jobs and that five would probably be overkill.”
A university lecturer secretly runs two companies on the side while at work from his laptop, while chatGPT does 80% of his donkeywork such as business plans, blog posts, and Excel spreadsheets.
And a software engineer called “Charles” stated that he was already earning $500,000 from two jobs, has a net worth of $3 million, and is planning to increase his salary to $800,000 with a third job!
I mean it sounds so polarising! There are those people who are afraid of losing their jobs to AI and these sons of don’t know who is making money by getting more jobs using chatGPT. This is what I was pointing out in this post:
First, when I came to know about this I was shocked. There’s also a Reddit “over employed” forum where you can find more ways the technology has made it easier to have a side hustle!
“It’s really good at putting together the skeleton of a program you want to write starting with just general prompts … ChatGPT will give me a semi-broken program that I can look at and then start correcting it on the same chat until it approximates something I can test. Saves a ton of time,” one programmer wrote.
“Web marketing here. I am using it for writing content that is SEO-focused. Also paid campaigns are a snap. I just copy and paste the entire page’s content and ask it for a few headlines that rhyme. Throw some money behind it and I have a paid campaign,” another said.
I mean chatGPT is just helping you to be much quicker and much more efficient at your work. It’s not the time to be afraid of losing the job, use it to get more efficient at the job, or get another job as these guys did! But mostly the people who fear this aren’t doing anything, Those who’re doing the work already know what to do.
But also on the other side, Goldman Sachs said, ‘‘generative AI was a “major advancement” and could replace the equivalent of 300 million full-time jobs around the world, with an estimated two-thirds of jobs able to be automated to at least some degree.”
While it could kill some jobs, it may also create new jobs and a massive increase in the productivity of workers. No one could’ve imagined AI could replace white-collar jobs. What’s the next sexiest job then? Let me know in the comments!

You can build the same Chrome extension or may not, but even after building a product you need customers, people who want to pay you for the service you’re providing them, and how could people know about what you’ve built?
That’s why you also will need to know how marketing works.
The Chrome extension helped to access GPT-4 right from your browser’s text area on any website! for example, type “/ai prompt” and press enter.
and it returns what you want:
How did he market it? He saw many similar products for the next week. The barrier to entry was low as anyone could build the same product using chatGPT.
He saw many of those relied on Twitter to get users. He had experienced similar incidents before and had a lot of experience launching products. So he took a different approach. He featured his product in an AI newsletter from Ben Tossell.
He also reached out to some TikTok influencers, shared his story with media, posted on HackerNews, Reddit, Facebook
He built it, got some customers, and then sold it. Many people make money like this by flipping saas products. He sold the Chrome extension on Acquire. Acquire is the #1 marketplace for selling your whole startup founded by Andrew Gazdecki.
A little secret, I also sold a product for a thousand on Acquire which was formerly MicroAcquire. I built that product for just playing with OpenAI’s API for fun, and made money by selling it!
