I’ve been learning AI for a few months now, and here’s what I find crazy ...

Everyone’s talking about the need to become “AI native”, but no one’s explaining what that actually means.

I had a moment recently where I thought:

I’ve been deep in this space for a while … and even I don’t know if I’m “AI native.” How would you even evaluate that?

To me, it points to a bigger gap in the space: too much hype, not enough clarity.

And a real disconnect between the tech bubble and how most people learn.

Most AI content falls into one of two camps:
🟡 hyper-technical talk about benchmarks and models
🟡 copy-paste prompts from influencers

Neither helps you actually understand AI.
And if you don’t understand it, you can’t really use it well.

I saw the same thing back when I worked in blockchain.

The real unlock for people wasn’t tips, it was understanding how the system worked.

Once they could see it clearly, they didn’t need to be told what to do.
They could think for themselves.

I think being “AI native” is the same.

You don’t need to know how to build the tools.
But you DO need to understand how they work.
So you can use them well.

I don’t fully know how to do that yet either.

So I’m starting a video series to figure it out:
