Adobe have rolled out the June update to their photography apps - Photoshop, Photoshop Beta, Lightroom, Lightroom Classic and Camera RAW - and it’s the usual combination of updates, tweaks and bug fixes. But the headline feature in Lightroom Classic is improved Select Subject which they reckon “now delivers much more precise selections, reliably distinguishing your subject from busy backgrounds.”
I don’t take anything at face value and so I decided to compare this new improved subject select mask with the just-released Photolab 9.8.
