I’m no longer interested in “healing”, it’s just not for me anymore.
There was a time when I would have describe myself as a ‘healer’ —
I’m a trained holistic practitioner & herbalist, and have done various forms of space holding work. It was the most concise way to answer the questions: “what are you?” and “what do you do?” — Because that was the honest truth. Not only did I spend my time helping others on their healing journeys, I was immovably dedicated to my own healing path, and in my free-time I continued to educate myself in every way I knew how to in order to grow and, well, heal.
I had spent over a decade in the spiritual and healing worlds; doing shadow and inner child work, chakra alignment, various types of therapy, plant ceremonies, anything and everything I could do to return to a place of wholeness and alignment — with the sole intention of embodying the most healed version of myself so I could be of service to humanity in some way.
I used to think that you could heal from anything.
I used to believe that there was a way, a modality, an herb, or prayer that could be found in some corner of the world — the idea that for every ailment there is a medicine — and now I just…. don’t.
While I am still an herbalist, offering holistic consultations locally and helping those that cross my path with their health,
I don’t think you can heal from everything and I don’t think thats the point.
