Suzie represents all brands of children’s and adult fiction. She loves women’s fiction, narrative non-fiction, memoir, and debut fiction. On the children’s side, she is interested in select YA and MG. Suzie loves strong characters and voice-driven stories that break out of the typical tropes of their genres, and she’s always looking for unique new voices in stories.

Maile is interested in adult non-fiction as well as children’s, middle grade, and YA fiction and non-fiction. In all categories, she is looking for projects that amplify underrepresented voices and untold stories.
In adult nonfiction, Maile is interested in journalistic, investigative deep dives, narrative retellings of untold histories, business and leadership resources centering underestimated identities, lifestyle and cookbooks with a fresh, personal hook, and unexpected humor and gift books.
In children’s, Maile is seeking fiction and non-fiction in all age categories. In picture books and MG, she gravitates toward heartfelt, earnest stories that use humor and silliness to connect with readers. In YA, she’s drawn to voice driven projects focusing on community and relationships with strong, complex characters that will stick with readers beyond the last page.

Lara represents bestselling and award-winning authors and illustrators of board books, picture books, early readers, chapter books, middle grade, and YA fiction and nonfiction, and authors of adult fiction.
In all categories, Lara relates to outsiders, and her most treasured reads are character-driven stories with sparks of magic (bright or haunting) and fascinating facts interwoven beautifully into the main narrative. She is seeking page-turners, underrepresented perspectives, and anything that makes her do a mental double-take. She loves characters who are fully rendered on the page and deeply human in their dreams, failures, and triumphs. Most of all, she appreciates intersectionality, anti-colonial narratives, and stories that take a wide view of the world and history in all of its interconnectedness.

She is particularly drawn to oft-forgotten stories of the past and underrepresented voices, and especially personal to her is unexplored Southern history and culture. She also loves high-concept fantasy in YA and adult fiction.

Natanya is looking for literary, upmarket, and commercial fiction. She is particularly interested in books that help us understand our world. She’s looking for multicultural voices, psychological thrillers, suspense, book club fiction, romance, and humorous fiction. She loves to find new writers and does not shy away from debut talent.
For nonfiction, Natanya is interested in authors with strong platforms who write about nature, the human mind, women’s issues, or animals.

Brent has an appreciation for both commercial and literary fiction, and often finds himself falling in love with books that possess the best elements of both: books that have commercial concepts, that will appeal to a wide audience, and are written in prose that is layered with emotion.
Currently, Brent is seeking new clients in middle grade, young adult, and adult literature, as well as graphic novels. He is primarily looking for strong concepts that he hasn’t seen before.

Susan represents work for children and teens only: picture books, chapter books, middle grade, and young adult, along with some non-fiction for young readers. She doesn’t represent adult projects.
Susan believes that books can change lives — inspire a passion for reading and story; unlock imagination and empathy; move readers to feel, think, wonder, examine, explore, to laugh really hard. Books invite joy.
Books that tell the stories of people, places, and cultures that have been overlooked and ignored for too long are at the top of her list.
She looks for projects that know kids are smart and perceptive and feeling deeply; that make the reader feel seen. If you’re creating work that could be described as generous, nuanced, and at ease with complexity, she’d love to read it.
