Have you ever come across the concept of Conscious Leadership?
I was familiar with traditional types of leadership such as autocratic, democratic, laissez-faire, transformational, transactional, and so on.
I’m excited to share this concept today because Sky High Standards by Irene is strongly aligned with it.
Conscious Leadership is a modern way of describing those who lead with:
awareness,
care for people,
value purpose and vision
and consider the broader ecosystem.
It is not only about seeking results, but also about taking care of how these are achieved and what is left behind along the way.
It goes beyond simply complying with standards: it is about understanding how every action impacts people, organisations, and society and leading with responsibility, integrity, and intention.
But where to start?
Everything begins with focusing on your Personal Leadership and Conscious Growth.
Leading with inner clarity. From your technical self to your conscious impact.
This is the main purpose of the Personal Leadership section of Sky High Standards by Irene.
To share my lessons learned and reflections, as well as the new dimensions I am discovering along the way, which are supporting me and may also support you on this journey of individual transformation.
This winter, on my bookshelf I have ready the following readings:
Jim Dethmer, Diana Chapman & Kaley Warner Klemp – The 15 Commitments of Conscious Leadership (2015)
John Mackey, Steve McIntosh & Carter Phipps – Conscious Leadership: Elevating Humanity Through Business (2020)
From the Center…
True leadership begins within.
When we lead consciously, we align purpose with action and impact.
In doing so, we create cultures that thrive on trust, care, and vision.
Looking forward to continuing to share with you.
See you next week. 👋
