Hello, old friends (and a few new ones, I hope).

It's been a minute, hasn't it? If my Substack were a digital marketing campaign, the A/B test results on my "consistent publishing schedule" would be, well, abysmal.

So, what have I been up to? Mostly, watching the digital marketing world evolve at warp speed from a slightly-less-online perch. I've been a quiet observer, a digital ghost in the machine, taking notes on the latest platform shifts and the continued absurdity of it all.

And let's be honest, there's been plenty of absurdity. Remember when we thought "programmatic" was the most complex thing we'd ever have to explain at a cocktail party? Now, try explaining the nuances of a cookieless identity solution to your parents over holiday dinner. It's a fun game.

But in all seriousness, I've missed this. I've missed diving into the nitty-gritty of AdTech, dissecting the latest trends in digital marketing, and, most importantly, sharing my thoughts with all of you.

Consider this my official return. I'm dusting off the keyboard, pouring a fresh cup of coffee, and getting back in the game. Expect posts on everything from the rise of retail media networks to the ethical implications of generative AI in marketing. I'll be here to unpack the hype, call out the BS, and hopefully, make a little sense of this chaotic, fascinating industry we all love (or love to complain about).

Thanks for sticking around. Let's get started.
