Venture networks are built on contribution.
Someone finds a company early. Someone makes an introduction. Someone reviews a deal, shares context, opens a door, follows up, or helps the network reach a person it would not have reached otherwise.
Before we get into what changed, some context on what ADIN is and why this matters. ADIN is a network-native venture firm. 1050+ Scouts: operators, engineers, founders, domain experts — who surface and evaluate deals alongside a small investment team. Every deal submitted flows into a shared pipeline. Every contributor is tracked. The network is the fund.
Scouts are not passive referrers. They write thesis breakdowns. They map markets. They dig on companies. They show up to a weekly call every week where the active pipeline gets reviewed, signals get shared across verticals and geographies, and the community compounds in real time.
And the economics are different by design. ADIN offers Scouts 50% carry on deals they source. Most scout programs at traditional funds offer 10% on small checks that, even in a tail outcome, barely pay out six figures after a decade of waiting. The network generates the alpha. The network should get paid like it does.
That is the foundation. Here is what we just built on top of it.
Traditional venture runs on private reputation. The same people get pulled into the same rooms because their contribution history is known by a small number of people. That works for a closed firm. It does not scale for an open network.
ADIN is built differently. If the network is going to get smarter as more people use it, contribution has to become measurable, visible, and easier to act on.
That is what the newest version of ADIN Points is designed to do. If you’d like to be an ADIN Scout, please sign up for our Waitlist here: https://adin.online/waitlist and start contributing.
Points Are Now Easier To Earn
Members now have a clearer place to see active earning opportunities.
Instead of points being attached only to one off actions, the product now surfaces live tasks that members can complete directly. Profile tasks, social account setup, following ADIN channels on X, referrals for other Scouts, Warm Intro volunteering, and deal submissions. If you want to get a full list of actions log into your profile and go here: https://adin.online/earn.
The goal is simple: make the next useful action obvious.
If someone is not actively reviewing a deal, they can still help the network. They can improve their profile, grow ADIN’s distribution, refer someone sharp, or raise their hand to be featured.
The network should not only reward the loudest or most obvious forms of participation. It should reward the small actions that make the whole system more useful.
We’re rolling out something fun to see how we can get the Points going over the next four weeks. If you take the most actions and gain the most points over the next month (the contest ends on July 15th): you get dinner for four in your city, on ADIN!
Deal Points Are Getting Smarter
Deal submissions remain one of the most important actions in ADIN.
The new system gives ADIN more flexibility around how those submissions are rewarded. A member can earn for submitting a deal, but ADIN can now also support smarter reward logic around milestones, focused categories, and campaign windows.
That opens up a better way to coordinate network attention.
If ADIN wants to see more companies in a specific sector, geography, or thesis, the points layer can support that. If a member consistently brings in high signal opportunities, that work becomes easier to recognize over time.
Traditional venture loses sourcing credit in email threads, partner memory, and private side channels. ADIN Points makes deal contribution part of a ledger that can be tracked and surfaced.
Social Growth Can Be Verified
Network growth is not just deal flow. Distribution matters too.
Members can now complete verified social tasks, following ADIN accounts on X, saving their profile handle, and ADIN verifies the action before awarding points. You can see how to get points here: https://adin.online/points.
Community growth should not be a black box. If members help ADIN reach more founders, investors, scouts, and operators, that work should be visible. Verification keeps the system cleaner and makes the reward feel connected to a real action, not a self-reported claim.
Warm Intro Is Now Part Of The Contribution Layer
ADIN’s Warm Intro series is about making the network more legible.
There are people inside ADIN building companies, investing, scouting, and thinking about markets before most people notice them. Warm Intro gives those people a way to share what they are working on and help the rest of the network understand who is here.
Members can now volunteer to be featured and earn points when they submit the form.
That turns storytelling into a product action. It gives members a way to raise their hand, and it gives ADIN a better way to find the people and stories that make the network stronger.
Leaderboards Show Momentum
Points are more useful when they are visible.
The leaderboard now gives members a clearer sense of where they stand. Weekly rankings show who is active right now. All-time rankings show who has built the most durable contribution history.
This creates two different kinds of momentum.
Weekly rankings make participation feel immediate. If you take useful actions this week, your movement shows up quickly.
All-time rankings make long-term contribution visible. The members who keep showing up, submitting deals, referring people, and helping ADIN grow build a track record that does not disappear after one campaign.
That is the kind of reputation layer an open venture network needs.
Why This Matters
The point is not just points.
The point is to turn an invisible network into an active system.
Traditional venture depends on closed rooms, private memory, and informal credit. ADIN can do better because it is software-native. It can track the actions that help the network grow, surface the people creating value, and make contribution easier to repeat.
That creates a compounding loop. Members contribute. ADIN measures and rewards the contribution. The leaderboard makes the contribution visible. More members see what useful participation looks like. The network gets better.
Networks that do not reward contribution lose to networks that do.
What To Do Next
If you know someone sharp, refer them.
If you are sitting on a deal, submit it.
If you want to help ADIN grow, complete the next task.
If you want the network to know what you are building, volunteer for Warm Intro.
ADIN works when people actually use it. Points make that usage visible.
