Perpetual seeking when we already know enough is resistance.

I’m betting that you secretly know more than you’re acting upon. If so can you see the futility of continuing to seek?

These days information is easily accessible and we still seek more of it. If you’ve started a business before the internet then you remember what it was like to drive to a library and search through hard copy reference books. In many ways it was easier to act when info wasn’t at our fingertips.

Knowing and not acting is what keeps us unnecessarily stuck in resistance.

Knowing more won’t transform your life. You already know far more than you need to know in order to make the change you want to make. I had to learn this one the hard way.

Things never clear up by waiting.

If this applies to you — have you asked yourself what you’re waiting for? What kept me stuck was the desire to feel something inspiring. What I learned is that inspiration comes after acting not before.

It felt safer to keep looking than to allow myself to declare that enough was enough. The odds are that you too don’t need more information. Like me what you really need is to trust that by acting now your aliveness will reveal itself.

What doesn’t bring you alive deadens you.

Here’s a big girl question for you. “Based on what I already know what action could I take today?” Then go forth and take it.

Resistance can be dangerously sneaky when we allow it to exist without conscious decision. Restraint is resistance. Delay is resistance.

Yet there’s an even more important reason not to resist. Doing so, even subconsciously, diminishes who you truly are. So here’s are two even bigger questions.

“What might happen if I no longer held myself back?” “Who would I be if I no longer waited.”

Needlessly waiting actually protects and maintains a long-held false identity that does not serve you well.

What if you already are what you seek?

Are you willing to quit hiding who you are?

Quit seeking and start acting to come into your potential.

Potential in its raw state is pure possibility that exists to be fulfilled. Fulfillment is aliveness and it feels far more wonderful than holding back.

There really is nothing to fear because aliveness comes from trusting even when you don’t fully know and that brings forth the awe that is you.
