Folks who take over family businesses often live the same life as their parents. But I’m not talking about them. My question is for those of us who seem to be living the same life today as we lived yesterday.
Truth be told too many of us live, feel and talk about our days repeating themselves. As always the first step to turning things around is to accurately determine which parts of your life could us an enhancement.
The most self-empowering practice is to tell the absolute truth to yourself about you life.
Set all shame, guilt and self-judgment aside and tell the truth to this question. “Where in my life do I most need an upgrade?”
Jot down that answer in your journal and then increase the probability of growing closer to realizing your potential by employing your divine imagination just to see what might be possible.
If it comes to your awareness then it’s already on its way into your reality. The past is of course irrelevant.
So, my friend what would a brand new life look like and feel like in your most delightful scenario?
Remember this. You can’t enhance your life if you’ve abdicated responsibility for creating the life you’re already living. Blaming anyone or anything for your state of affairs is lunacy.
If you aren’t creating your own reality then who is? Without awareness the opinions of others just seep into our internal life intentions. But don’t blame yourself. These unseen persuasions and points of view mostly condition us unconsciously.
Choose the life area to enhance.
Awaken and quit pretending that you aren’t in charge. Declare that you are the source of your good.
Then choose and take one small action to solidify your agency.
After that stay on track with this big girl question. “Is what I’m doing right now likely to guide me to a life well-lived?”
When old habitual thinking tries to push you into living a used life say. No thanks I’m creating anew today!”
