I mean, I knew cereal milk was a fun dessert play, but who knew it was so loved?? I received countless DMs and comments asking if I tried my original cereal milk pie recipe with other cereal varieties.
And since I aim to please, now I can say I have! Also… what a wild ride the list of the most popular cereals in the U.S. is… FRUITY PEBBLES? Me thinks not.
I must admit, I’ve walked by Golden Grahams many times in the grocery store and thought, “Who in the world is buying those?” And clearly, I was wrong.
They’re basically mini graham crackers, which turn into quite the delicious pie. This Golden Grahams cereal milk pie features a cereal crust and GG cereal milk custard, but we’re giving it a s’mores twist with a Swiss meringue topping and a chocolate drizzle. YUMTASTIC!!!
This Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal milk pie takes cinnamon custard to the next level. Let me tell ya, there is no added cinnamon to this recipe, but the cereal crust, cereal milk custard, AND Cinnamon Toast toffee Crunch get the job done.
As a kid, my #1 cereal choice was Cocoa Puffs, but this Cocoa Pebbles cereal milk pie might have me re-thinking my allegiance. The same rhythm as the pies above (cereal crust and custard) but with whipped cream and a salty-sweet Cocoa Pebble crunch on top.
The OG, my classic cereal milk pie, that kicked it all off. Made with cornflakes (which I will not take slander for!) that give the perfect nostalgic cereal milk flavor, with just the right salty balance.
