Deeper Relationships -- Not Shallow Rituals

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.” This is the first and greatest commandment. And a second is like it: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” On these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets.” — Jesus Matthew 22:37-40

“For you will not delight in sacrifice, or I would give it; you will not be pleased with a burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.” — King David Psalm 51:16-17

“With what shall I come before the LORD and bow down before the exalted God? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old?

Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousand rivers of olive oil? Shall I offer my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?

What does God really want from us?

Does he want fancy buildings?

Does he want a moving song and hymns service?

Does he want us to be doctrinally correct on every issue?

He has told you O, man what He really desires.

He searches throughout the world for those who Love God and Love their neighbor. For those who truly love one another! For those who do no harm. .
