I’m a writer. Once a writer always a writer. Greek-style: Logos - Pathos - Ethos. The logic is for my articles in the press, my sciences education, my funding proposals for our wildfire software, nanosatellite and edible landscape consortium and my male colleagues.
But women are different. We don’t want logic all day. We want dreams. We want romance. We want our spirit to survive and our children to thrive. We want to dress expressively. We want to be loved just for who we are. Beauty. Non-beauty. Inside and outside. We are hysterical at times. Our menstruations line up with the moon IN this fast-spinning planet.
And we don’t want to be burned at the stake for our emotions like witches in the old days. We cry in nature. Howl to the moon. Meditate through the landscapes of our mind. And understand the world with depth and emotion. Not just math.
