Traditional democratic politicians are in denial about just how fed up people are. They think it’s a fad. They routinely, literally insult our understanding of the issues or the alternatives we’re electing to office. They refuse to get with the program, and that just underscores the need to vote them out. Nobody should be bigger than the program, and getting elected by voters who feel confident you’ll fight for what they care about, that’s the whole ball game.

We break down the gap between what Democratic leadership promises and what it delivers: abortion rights, voting rights, labor organizing, minimum wage, and the donor money shaping party priorities over its own base.
