Hey folks,
I gave ChatGPT four photos of myself and asked it a question I normally avoid until I’m already late:
What should I wear?
One makeup-free selfie. Then front, side, and back full-body photos in fitted clothing.
That’s it.
I asked ChatGPT to study my proportions, coloring, and overall style. Then I had it create a complete wardrobe guide based on me.
It suggested the shirts, pants, jackets, shoes, and colors that should work best. But the part that surprised me was the outfit planning.
Coffee run. Business casual. Travel day. Dinner. Vacation.
Complete looks, already coordinated.
So instead of staring at my closet and trying to make random pieces cooperate, I basically turned ChatGPT into a personal stylist.
And, you can copy the exact workflow below.
No guesswork.
You’ll need:
A ChatGPT plan that lets you upload and create images
A phone camera
Fitted, simple clothing such as leggings and a tank top
Bright natural light
About 15 minutes for the first pass
A quick privacy note: these photos show your face and body. Only upload images you’re comfortable sharing with the service, and check your ChatGPT data controls before you begin.
Also, image tools can drift. Your face, body shape, or clothing details may change between generations. Treat the first result as a styling concept, then correct anything that doesn’t look like you.
Take one makeup-free selfie while looking directly at the camera.
Then take three full-body photos:
Front
Side
Back
For cleaner results:
Wear fitted clothing so your proportions are visible
Stand naturally with your arms relaxed
Use the rear phone camera for full-body photos if possible
Keep the camera around waist or chest height
Avoid wide-angle distortion
Use bright natural light with minimal shadows
Turn off filters and portrait mode
You don’t need a professional photo shoot. You just need clear reference images.
Start a new chat and upload the photos together.
Tell ChatGPT that all four images show the same person and that they should be treated as identity references.
Then paste the prompt below.

LUXURY PERSONAL STYLE BOOK
You are a luxury personal stylist, celebrity image consultant, body shape expert, fashion editor, editorial designer, and wardrobe consultant.
I am uploading several clear photos of myself taken in natural light. They all show the same person.
Your job is to perform a complete luxury wardrobe and style consultation, then create a polished 6-page personal style book based on my real appearance, proportions, coloring, lifestyle, and preferences.
The finished result should feel comparable to a premium personal styling consultation from Nordstrom, House of Colour, Ralph Lauren, Banana Republic, Reformation, Sézane, Jenni Kayne, Vogue, Who What Wear, or a capsule wardrobe expert.
This is not a generic fashion mood board. It is a professional editorial styling book personalized specifically to me.
MOST IMPORTANT INSTRUCTION
The only woman who may appear anywhere in this style guide is me.
Use my uploaded photographs as the identity reference for every visualization. Do not use a stock model or a different face.
Maintain my real:
- Facial proportions
- Eye shape
- Nose
- Lips
- Eyebrows
- Smile
- Hairline
- Skin tone
- Body proportions
- Height proportions
- Shoulder width
- Waist
- Legs
- Overall silhouette
Do not make me thinner or curvier. Do not lengthen my legs. Do not change my face or body.
Only change:
- Clothing
- Hairstyles
- Colors
- Accessories
- Shoes
- Jewelry
Every result should look like realistic editorial photography of me wearing different outfits.
STYLE ANALYSIS
Before designing any page, analyze my visible:
- Body proportions
- Vertical line
- Shoulder width
- Waist placement
- Hip width
- Leg length
- Torso length
- Body balance
- Face shape
- Coloring
- Overall aesthetic
If you use a body-shape or style-typing system, treat it as a helpful reference rather than a fact. Explain what you can actually observe from the photos and flag anything uncertain.
Ask me up to five short questions about my lifestyle, work dress code, climate, budget, comfort preferences, and favorite brands before making final wardrobe recommendations.
Base every recommendation on my photos and answers, not generic styling rules.
DESIGN DIRECTION
- Luxury editorial
- Quiet luxury
- Minimal
- Magazine quality
- Warm ivory background
- Dark olive headings
- Warm taupe accents
- Elegant serif display type
- Minimal sans-serif body type
- Large photography
- Professional spacing
- Generous white space
- Soft shadows
- Modern layouts
The finished guide should resemble a professionally designed fashion book worth more than $2,000.
Avoid busy graphics, clip art, cartoon illustrations, fake logos, watermarks, and an obvious AI collage look.
PAGE 1: YOUR 2026 STYLE DIRECTION
Create a strong editorial opening page.
Show me wearing one complete signature outfit from these angles:
- Front
- Side
- Back
- Three-quarter view
Use my identity and body proportions for every view.
Determine and explain:
- Style identity
- Overall aesthetic
- Body shape influence
- Best proportions
- Overall styling direction
Add a section called “My Style DNA” with five or six accurate descriptors, such as:
- Polished casual
- Quiet luxury
- Feminine
- Modern
- Timeless
- Soft structure
Finish with a concise luxury color palette showing the colors that best complement my visible coloring. Include names and color swatches.
PAGE 2: BEST TOPS, LAYERS, AND NECKLINES
Create four to six outfit examples using my identity and proportions.
Test and compare:
- Open button-down shirts
- Lightweight layers
- Fitted tanks
- Square necklines

Explain why each silhouette works, or doesn’t work, for my proportions.
PAGE 3: BEST BOTTOMS, LENGTHS, AND PROPORTIONS
Show me wearing a thoughtful selection of:
- Denim shorts
- Relaxed jeans
- Straight jeans
- Wide-leg trousers
- Easy linen pants
- Skirts
- Different rises

Each outfit should include coordinated shoes, jewelry, a bag, optional layers, and accessories.
Give every outfit a simple formula I can repeat with pieces I already own.
PAGE 5: MY CAPSULE WARDROBE
Create a beautifully organized capsule wardrobe in a premium editorial layout.
Include only pieces that coordinate with at least three other items in the capsule.
Show:

- Color palette

Finish with a section called “My Style Formula” that summarizes:

End with a personal editorial paragraph describing how my wardrobe should feel every day.
IMAGE QUALITY REQUIREMENTS
- Every image must use my uploaded photos as the identity reference
- Every outfit visualization must depict me
- Maintain my facial identity and body proportions across all pages
- Keep my real height proportions and skin tone
- Use realistic editorial fashion photography
- Avoid beauty filters and unrealistic body changes
- Do not use stock women or generic models
- Do not use cartoon illustrations
- Keep typography sharp, complete, and readable
WORKFLOW
Do not create all six pages at once.
First, give me the written style analysis and ask your lifestyle questions.
Next, create Page 1 only. Wait for my approval and corrections.
Then create one page at a time, keeping the approved face, body, color palette, typography, and layout consistent throughout the full guide.
This part matters.
Don’t ask ChatGPT to render the full book in one image. You’ll get tiny text, inconsistent outfits, and a face that may look less like you on every page.
Start with the written analysis.
Correct anything it gets wrong. Maybe you never wear heels. Maybe “business casual” has no place in your life. Maybe beige makes you look half awake (same).
Then generate Page 1.
One page at a time.
Once the face, proportions, palette, and layout feel right, use that approved page as the visual reference for Page 2. Continue one page at a time.
Slow is faster here.
The pretty style book is useful. The shopping list is better.
After you approve all six pages, paste this follow-up:
Using my approved style book, create a practical 30-day wardrobe plan.
First, list the pieces I should check for in my current closet.
Then create:
1. Ten repeatable outfit formulas
2. A prioritized shopping list with “buy now,” “buy later,” and “skip” sections
3. A maximum cost-per-item target based on my stated budget
4. A color-coordination guide so every new purchase works with at least three pieces I own
5. A list of five items I should stop buying because they fight my proportions, colors, or lifestyle
Do not recommend a purchase until you explain what gap it fills.
That last line can save you a lot of money.
Because the goal isn’t to let AI talk you into a brand-new wardrobe. It’s to understand what already works, spot the real gaps, and stop buying random pieces that looked better on the hanger.
Photos can help with visual proportions and color direction. They can’t tell ChatGPT:
Which fabrics make you itchy
What you’ll actually wear on a Tuesday
Your workplace norms
Your budget
How an item feels when you sit, walk, or move
So treat the output like advice from a stylist, not a verdict about your body.
Keep what feels right. Ignore the rest.
