Full Moon in Capricorn Vibes

Happy Full Moon, friends,

I’ve really been meditating on Capricorn as this Full Moon was approaching, partly because I don’t have much of it in my chart and I wanted to honor its energy. For me, it’s dad energy: responsible, disciplined, and steady. It’s earth energy, so it’s all about creating something real. As I’ve studied more, I see the deeper thread, there’s a legacy piece and with it, the sacred discipline it takes to bring vision into form.

Capricorn reminds me that real magic is built over time. It isn’t rushed. It isn’t outsourced. It isn’t performative. Let’s build something real something that lasts, something that’s better. That’s where we find sacred devotion.

As a way to honor this Capricorn Full Moon, I’ve started 75 Hard, well I’m changing it a little bit to be a 75-day challenge that includes mental, physical, and (for me) creative commitments. A client mentioned she was starting it, and I had already been thinking of ways to honor Capricorn’s determined, persistent, and ambitious energy. This feels like a very embodied way to do it.

You’re welcome to join me or create your own version, think of it as nervous system devotion not a punishment. Some ideas:

• 20 minutes walking outside daily

• 10 minutes of journaling or breath work

• A daily creative practice (writing, painting, music)

• Hydration & nourishing meals

Make it yours. Make it loving. Make it sustainable.

This Full Moon says: You don't have to hustle. You just have to build what matters.

I had a powerful moment in a recent yoga class that gave me new insight into the runes. During meditation, I felt a full-body wave of power move through me — fleeting, but real. Later, I realized the next rune in the cycle is Uruz, arriving on July 14th. Uruz represents raw, primal power. It translates to Auroch, the ancient bulls that once roamed the Earth, massive and untamable.

We are currently in Fehu, the beginning of the Runic New Year. Fehu reminds us that to fully step into our power, we must first become resourced. That’s the key transition between Fehu and Uruz, the two runes anchoring this moment.

The devotional for Fehu is tending to your Sacred Self, the part of you that knows exactly what you need and what to do. From there, Uruz offers the wild, grounded strength to embody your vision.

So ask yourself:
What do you need in place to show up for your power?
What support, nourishment, grounding, or structure do you require to rise?

This Full Moon in Capricorn is the perfect container to offer the structure and clarity to identify your resources, commit to your vision and build toward something lasting.
