You know that moment you stumble upon the things that you saved ages ago and suddenly it all makes sense again?
And today i found an old board “Things worth reading twice”. I have been collecting words for years without realizing. These words always speak to me, so i decided to write about it.
This post isn’t about what i read. It is about what we might feel when we read it together.
(here are few of them)
I can’t cry about having a lot on my plate when my goal was to eat.
This made me laugh first, but it’s so true. We pray for growth, for opportunities, for a busier life and when it comes, we forget that it’s what we once wanted. It is strange isn’t it? How we can crave for a fuller life and then get overwhelmed by it.
It is not that we are complaining, we are just being human, realizing that fullness comes with weight.
Exist loudly.
For too long i kept myself small. Afraid to say something wrong, afraid to be seen, to take up too much space or to stand out.
But the world doesn’t need to a quieter version of anyone.
Existing loudly doesn’t mean to shout, it means showing up as you are. Your voice, your story, your softness they deserved to be heard. Your radiance deserves to be seen.
Love others so radically they wonder why.
People are so careful with kindness these days. Im afraid it will take the wrong way. I think about how rare it is to love unconditionally, without asking for anything, without fear of losing.
Love is meant to overflow.
Smiling at strangers. Checking in on people. Choosing softness and doing it anyway. Love hard enough that it confuses people not because it is too much but because the world taught them to expect so much less.
Don’t chase butterflies build your garden the butterflies will come.
I used to wonder why i don’t have too many friends to hang out with (i was such a people pleaser, always chasing validation). Eventually, i stopped and started becoming someone who attracts naturally. When you tend to your own soil, the right things find you.
You don’t have force timing or beg for love.
You can’t heal in the same environment that broke you.
We are so naive wanting the same people to pull us out who once pushed us in. Sometimes, we need to move, put distance from people, patterns, from our older version that no longer fits. I used to think staying meant strength but now i know leaving can mean peace.
You deserve a surrounding that lets you breathe softer.
We’re all just walking each other home.
This one feels like a warm hug, that we are not alone. Even if we feels like we are, we are all just helping each other to find our way back, sometimes with love and sometimes with mere silence.
We don’t have to fix people, we just need to walk beside them.
People change and forget to tell each other.
I know change is inevitable, but i wonder why people drift and eventually it is hard to believe whether they are the same ones.
Have you ever looked at someone you love and realized they have become a stranger not suddenly, but slowly? It hurts. It makes you angry.
But maybe we don’t always need to explain our changes. Maybe silence is just another way of saying “I’ve changed.”
No winter lasts forever no spring skips its turn.
This one always gives me hope every time. Nothing stays, the bad days, the good days, the ache we carry. Everything changes with stillness. No matter how endless the cold is, spring will always find its way back.
It is always arriving.
Maybe that’s what this board reminded me of, we collect words not just to read them but to return to them. Because when life feels too much, these small sentences feels like home. Maybe they will mean something different to you or maybe just the same.
Either way we’re both here, reading and feeling together.
xoxo,
Aayushi.
