Guilt

i don’d know why i feel guilt all the time

it stays and festers

lingering under my skin

growing with every move

It accumulates until its too big to ignore

i cry until i can no longer feel it

yet the cycle continues

crying to release it

yet it continues to grow.

i dont even know what im guilty about

yet its always there are never leaves.

im okay while i ignore it,

yet once it grows and takes over my thoughts,

the only thing that can suppress it is salty tears

ugly crying

just to get it out my system

i hope it allows me to forget all my memories of him

i hope it washes all the mistakes

i hope it washes me away

this is dramatised btw - to an extent
