7pm.

iceberg burning in my gums.

just finished a fucking 9h shift. can’t take this shit anymore.

but nevertheless we gotta get back to grafting.

so for now… have you ever wondered why your thoughts start to attach you once everything seems to go right?

it’s weird describing this pattern.

but somehow once you’re locked in. once you’re making money. once you’re progressing in life.

there’s suddenly this barrier pulling you away from that reality you’re trying to create.

it feels like you’re two faced.

there is one side of you that has crazy amounts of discipline, but it felt like he had just slipped away.

and there is one side of you that has addict like instincts.

times where you’re extremely locked in. and times when you’re staring at your laptop screen wondering where life went wrong.

you’re living life not knowing the meaning.

you’re chasing a feeling.

but at the end of the day, you’re only living once. you literally only get this one life.

you’re constantly chasing that feeling of an escape.

just take this as an example.

everyone is escaping something. whether it’s your thoughts. or a specific reality.

there are people escaping reality through smoking blunts.

but on the other side of the coin, there are also people escaping reality by drowning themselves in work.

everyone is escaping something. do you realise?

you’ve probably also heard the stories where guys work overtime just to escape their wives for a moment.

it’s a miserable world we live in.

but why do your thoughts even start to attack you once progress is made?

thinking about it…

you see… you made progress but this is where most people fail.

they make progress and they start to fall into the same patterns they worked so hard to escape.

so what happens is… they slip up. fall into the version that they’ve been in before.

and now what suddenly happens is. the same thoughts they had before escaping a specific feeling suddenly arose again.

simply because their brain convinced them, “We don’t need to work harder we’re finished here.”

but please imprint this into your brain what i’m about to say.

it never gets easier. you either go up or down in life.

and the higher you move up the ladder, the more difficult it will get.

of course you could also now argue that once you’re in a flow state, everything flows effortlessly.

yes that statement is true.

but remember you’ll only flow because you’ve levelled up.

similar to the gym.

think back to your first time in the gym.

your max was probably just the bar on bench press.

and as you progress through the gym.

the weights keep moving up.

and life works in the exact same manner.

things that have been hard will become easier.

but it will never get easier.

just imprint this into your brain.

so what do you do when your thoughts attack you?

realise that you’re making progress.

and do your best to not slip up.

take a few days off and get back into the game.

just a little post.

more to come.

stay schemin.

escape, a85.

you’ve got the morning routine, the vision, the “I’m working on myself” said in a tone that closes the conversation.

i see it. i’m not mocking it.

i’m pointing out that it’s not where you live.

where you live: you already know exactly what you want. you’ve described it to yourself at 2am more times than you’d admit. you haven’t moved not from disbelief, but because getting it means becoming someone your current circle won’t fully recognise.

so you keep refining the picture instead of taking the step. a picture can’t reject you. a decision can.

that’s the room you’ve been standing in. this is the door out of it.

i urge you to click this link.
