Pick our live show movie!!!

As I mentioned on the showcast this week, we’re letting you decide what we watch for our live episode (here in NYC on 8/13 at City Winery — get your tickets now)! Each one of us have chosen a movie we think would make for a funny, deep and ultimately entertaining experience for you all. Vote for your pick, winner announced next week!

Good Will Hunting (free on Pluto) stars Matt Damon, Ben Affleck and Robin Williams. Damon’s a custodian at Harvard who surprises everyone with his smarts. He’s torn between the road to success and the streets he’s leaving behind.

Hardball (free on Pluto) has Keanu Reeves coaching a rag-tag group of inner-city kids. It’s like Bad News Bears or Mighty Ducks or Wildcats or any number of movies that we all know and love.

Mean Girls (free on Pluto) stars Lindsay Lohan, Amy Poehler and Rachel McAdams. It’s about mean girls, but also it’s about survival.

Player’s Club (rent on Amazon) is a comedy/drama written and directed by Ice Cube, and stars Bernie Mac and Jamie Foxx. Pimps and hoes. Excuse me as I listen to “Splackavellie.”

True Romance (stream on Netflix) is written by a very young Quentin Tarantino and stars Christian Slater and Roseanne Arquette, with Brad Pitt, Christopher Walken, James Gandolfini and a whole slew of others after Slater and Arquette find themselves with a suitcase filled with drugs.

You have until Wednesday July 22 to vote, I’m announcing it on July 23. Don’t vote wrong! Buy your tickets and come through!

People are saying that our Carlito’s Way episode is one of our best — there’s a lot within the actual episode, but the question I want to ask here and now is, is it a better movie than Scarface?
