In the past two months, my “dating history” has gone something like this.

I want to be creative, but my brain feels scatty.

Without structure my brain is like a toddler at a birthday party who’s just been handed a taser.

A month where things start to gradually bloom.

No one warns you how strange it feels to stop doing what you’ve always done.

A love letter to insomnia, hormones, and delusion.

I dreamt there was a bomb in my back garden.

Because apparently making friends as an adult requires running shoes, small talk, and a car — and I have none of the above.

A gentle reminder that autumn isn’t all doom, drizzle, and dark mornings — sometimes it’s more baths, boots, and a big glass of Pinot.

A reflection on growth, change, and finally becoming someone I don’t mind being alone with.

The addiction of recognition

I hate the word trauma.

3:14am.

The path clings to the cliffside, thin and almost forgotten, as though the wind has chased everyone else away.

The shame, the panic, and the strange freedom of unemployment.

We live in a world that tells us “you can do anything you want with your life.”

A back injury, ADHD, and a caffeine ban walk into my life…

My brain thinks a notification is foreplay.

4am. I was awake.

A back injury, a bit of an identity crisis and a reluctant journey into healing, shame and surprisingly decent glutes.
