Most people don’t seek guidance because it’s trendy.
They do it because they want clarity, relief, and real support. And sometimes, they find it.
But sometimes they don’t. Sometimes they leave a session, a program, or a mentor relationship feeling smaller, confused, or quietly harmed — not because they are weak, but because something in that dynamic was not healthy.
The harm isn’t always dramatic. It’s often subtle: blurred boundaries, pressure framed as “growth,” emotional dependency disguised as support, or generalized advice that ignores the person’s real needs and context.
I wrote Healers and “healers” to draw a clear line between ethical, grounded guidance and practices that are manipulative, performative, or psychologically unsafe - whether they come from spiritual circles, energetic work, coaching spaces, health professionals, or any other form of “help.”
This book is not here to create fear. It’s here to restore clarity, self-trust, and discernment.
