NoteTools: Opinionated Notetaking Tool For Sublime Text

I am a note taker. At one point my favorite tool to do this on my computer was, and sort of still is, a text editor called Sublime Text. One of the features that I has always intrigued me was it’s plug in system. I have used, but never written my own. Since I have an opinionated approached to my note taking organization, this seems like a great opportunity to do two things:

1. Learn how to write plugins for sublime text.
2. Organize my notes and automate their creation.

Sadly, the documentation around plugins in sublime text is pretty poor. So to achieve my vision of easier file creation involved a lot of reverse engineering and reading what documentation did exist. Honestly, if you are a developer you need to be able to do this. I’m richer for having had to force myself to do that.
