Readers read beyond novels and books, and I’d like to introduce you to a part of my writing and editing life you may not know as much about. I’m the Opinion Editor for The Kansas City Star, a major metropolitan news media company located in Kansas City, Mo. On Sunday, we showcased the team — with two new members who bring unique voices — and introduced them to our readers. We talked about what we do and why.
