We kept hearing that our New Year’s retreat round-up was so inspiring, we thought we’d do it again for fall—another season that carries the impulse to turn over a new leaf and learn a thing or two. Helder Farm Studios, Culinary Table – September, Alentejo, Portugal
Dutch couple Esmee Brandwijk and Laurens Smit left Amsterdam for 7.5 hectares of land in Portugal’s southern Alentejo and built their dream farm from scratch. The Culinary Table is a women’s-only week of yoga, seasonal cooking and creating with NYC chef-artist duo Maya Aristimuño and Alyssa Hannah. Yoga and ocean swims are also on the schedule.
