For many women our network of women is EVERYTHING.
The women whom we voice note and emoji throughout the day — the ones who remember our birthdays and how we like our tea. The women who sit close on the sofa, combing our hair with their fingers, and bring us soup when we are sick.
The women whom we have confided in, trusted, and believed — though it was likely never said — that we’d grow old with.
These women can feel like everything…and there are seasons in our lives when these relationships end. Unexpectedly. Dramatically. Or quietly fade away.
However it happens, there’s real grief when you break up with a bestie. There’s real hurt and anger, confusion and also self-gaslighting that can happening. The self-blaming and self-doubting that possibly led you to being the leaver.
Get your tea and have a listen to this little share and let me know how it moves you in the comments. 🫖
