This is not what you had expected. You would never have signed up for this. Never in a million years.

Nevertheless...

We are all One. And we are all in this together.

If you are a conscious writer with a vision of a blissful New Earth, you need to keep grounded to go forward. Grounding helps you gain clarity when you need to make important decisions and the best ways to achieve this is through exercise and connecting with nature.

To vent and gain insight, another survival tool is journaling. Don’t hold back, no matter how angry or sad you are feeling. Journaling can help you heal.

Until we meet our golden future, let us work to dissolve our darkest thoughts so we may focus instead on co-creating a loving planet of Light.

Let us find the Peace within—now and always.

In this cozy audio journey, I set the scene for you to be mindful, go within and reflect upon the beauty that still exists.

You are snug in your hand-carved wooden bed inside a rustic cabin on a snow-covered mountain top.

You are slowly awakening…and you smile when you realize you do not have to go anywhere today.

You have no responsibilities today.

There are no computers…no phones to interrupt your thoughts……no reason to keep to a schedule.

Today you are going to enjoy the day without rushing or stress.

You will be mindful…doing things a slower way. And you will appreciate everything you do and see.

This is your day!

You slowly remove the covers and arise from the bed.

The room is chilly and you shiver a little.

You slide your feet into your fluffy slippers and grab your robe from the back of your rocking chair.

The floorboards creak slightly as you make your way from the bedroom to your little sitting room.

You love this room because it holds so many things that are dear to you…

…your wood-burning stove…

…your library of books…

…your favorite woodland paintings…

…and your writing desk.

You open the stove and place a stack of wood inside, then light the fire, holding your hands in front of the flames to warm them.

You make your way to the kitchen.

You pause to inhale the refreshing scent of mint and rosemary in your windowsill herb garden, then remove a box of matches from a drawer.

You light a tall, honey-colored candle in a pewter wall sconce and watch the flame dance for a few moments, hypnotized by its blue and orange colors.

You remove the vintage coffee grinder from the counter and fill the grinder bowl with a heaping scoop of roasted coffee beans.

Then you crank and crank. The aroma is wonderful!

After more cranking, you open the drawer to see the grounds.

You scoop the grounds into a metal coffee pot, add water from your deep double sink, and place the pot on the stove.

The coffee brewing will be a long process, but you are fine with that.

You are in no rush.

Sitting at your little table, you hold the orange in your hand and peel away a little of the skin from the fruit to inhale its sweet, citrusy scent.

The coffee is ready and you pour this magical wakeup brew into a blue and white teapot that you have lined with cheesecloth to strain the grounds.

When this step is complete, you pour the coffee into your favorite mug, adding sugar and cream from their matching blue pottery containers, and stir the coffee with a silver spoon.

You take a sip and are pleased that it tastes absolutely perfect.

Now you open the wooden bread bin to retrieve a blueberry banana muffin.

You sit with your coffee, muffin, and orange, listening to the birds outside and the crackling of the fire in the next room.

When you have finished your breakfast, you return to your sitting room and smile when you see the glass vase of yellow daffodils on your writing desk.

These flowers were a gift from a neighbor and they illuminate the dimness with a golden ray of brilliant sunshine.

Moving the flowers aside, you light a candle and take a sip of the freshly brewed coffee, closing your eyes for a moment as you savor its earthy goodness.

This journal is your treasure. It is filled with the breathings of your heart.

There are family stories in this journal, personal observations from nature, the beginnings of novels and short stories in this journal.

The candle flickers as you flip through the worn pages until you find a clean one, the page where you will write your intention for the day:

I am cozy, warm, and creative.

The words make you smile, and you know it will be a good day for writing and dreaming…

…and maybe baking bread…

…or cooking a pot of soup…

…or making a batch of soap or candles…

…or painting a nature collage…

…or reading a book.

Today is a slow day.

It is your day, a great big hug from the Universe, and you are cozy…

warm…

and creative!
