If you’ve been regularly reading my irregular posts, you will surely have noticed that I am roughly 6 months behind in narrating the story of this sailing adventure. Since most of you are probably catching up only when you receive an email, what you may not have noticed is that there is a website behind the posts, www.sailwindriver.com and a menu option called Notes that has short video, audio, and written comments captured while I am “in the moment”.
The Notes section has more current information about my location, goings and doings. But unlike the emails you received when I post one of the longer form stories, you will not get alerted to Notes unless you use the Substack app (Apple | Android) on your phone or tablet, and turn its notifications on.
To be clear, using the Substack app, or visiting the Notes section on the website, is an option for you to get more information, and not a request from me for more clicks or subscriptions. You are welcome here, whenever and however you’d like to experience this journey.
