A 2026 Six-Pack Soundtrack (Kenny Rogers Not Included...This Time)

I know I posted that ever-growing playlist of songs that serve as my Best of 2026, but I also know that a gigantic playlist can be more than a little bit intimidating, so I thought I’d offer up the six songs from that playlist that I listened to while cutting the front yard today.

Yes, it’s a small yard, and I have no complaints about that.

One caveat: it’s possible that some of these songs originally came out before 2026, but they’re dated as 2026 on Spotify, and 2026 is definitely the first time I’ve heard any of them, so…that’s why they’re here.
