How is this great and offensive affront against our dear democracy going unchallenged by more powerful moral and ethical forces boldly rooted in the great history and traditions of the defense of our great nation against usurpers foreign and domestic?

Who else – other than us- among us shall act?

What oaths do we break – to ourselves, our children, our security, our way of life - by not acting proportionally against such dire, abominable, unethical, violent, and morally reprehensible and grotesque offenses, enacted by powerful actors unimaginably executing their dark and calamitous vision unconscionably and heart-breakingly before our very eyes on a daily basis?

How are we not every hour and every day, challenging this unconstitutionally treasonous subversion of all we have held and hold dear? Where are the positional powerful voices representing us effectively raising their voices and rallying us up against these challenges and affronts? And are we listening to their encouragement to act? In these desperate times requiring desperate efforts from each of us? And are we protecting them as well?

We are mostly (but not wholly) corrupted by an economic system that values wealth as a greater power than the ideals of a nation that judicially, and philosophically, may hold up to us a mirror of our better natures, adjoined to our sense of unity as a whole nation, indivisible, such that – out of many, one (E Pluribus Unum!) – resonates more clearly than the divisive politics of class warfare and one-party, zero-sum politics that aims to divide us against ourselves and serve the aims of would-be kings and lords who profit on our misery and subdivision, and that would have us paupers and unruly fools under the calloused thumbs of shallow, dumb, ideologues to slave away, unawares, for aims not in service to a nation, but to “monkeys with money and guns”.

“Mundus Sine Caesaribus!” A world without kings!

We live and die by who we are in these moments. And if we die, may it be in sacrifice to efforts made by the better angels of our nature who may prevail over this awful, soulless abomination we suffer out of ignorance and regression, that has no eye focused or imagination turned toward a better future or the greater selves we are hopeful may succeed, by the grace of our generous and inclusive intentions, some generations come - wholesome and beneficial - sooner than later.
