Critters have been sampling the tomatoes

I'm guessing squirrels. Judged and found not ripe enough yet. They never touch the cherry tomatoes but they fucking love Cherokee Purples.

Origanum 'Kent Beauty' (ornamental oregano)

This plant is so good. Bees love it. It smells amazing. It's planted in a corner where a gravel path meets the driveway and it bakes in reflected heat all day. It doesn't care about anything. Also good in containers.

Teucrium chamaedrys (wall germander) + praying mantis

These germanders are covered in bees all day, so I'm guessing the mantis was hunting bees.

Jelly Bean Gold Monkeyflower (Diplacus 'Jelly Bean Gold')

I tried growing the straight species but my heavy clay soil + wet winters killed it. They are a local native, but the ones I've personally seen have been on hillsides and slopes, so they're probably getting the drainage they need. These Jelly Bean varieties seem totally unbothered by anything at all. Ceramic rabbit $2 from an estate sale.
