So I admit it. I was pretty jaded about the whole American 250 stuff. I cannot tell you how many adults I have seen in the past few weeks wearing ridiculous red white & blue attire. Why just a few days ago I saw adults wearing red white & blue bib overalls (shorts). Clearly not intending that day to do any farm or ranch work. Not that I’ve not done this in my younger years although I’m fairly certain I never had bib overalls that were short shorts.
I also saw many Roughrider and TR impersonators. Ahem, recreators…….including moi.
One of my patriot ancestors was Elizabeth Ellen Jean Sealey. She was born in about 1748 in South Carolina and died in about 1810 in Chester, South Carolina.
To clear my head, today I went to the Bismarck Post Office and bought some Forever stamps.
