So I’ve been banging on about being an artist, but what if that’s not what you are after?

In my last Instagram reel, I got challenged (nicely) over the definition of art.

I hear from a lot of makers that they can’t be artists, because they didn’t go to university!

Who do you create for? I’m really hoping that you said, for yourself. At least mostly.

Do you remember as a kid that intense feeling of boredom? I guess I might be showing my age with this question.

This week I’ve been working on the second sleeve for a jumper I’ve been knitting.

When people talk to me about the stuff I make, pretty much all of them will say at some point ‘I wish I had time to do that.’

Many of us are looking at the date today (1 July) and wondering how the year has moved on so quickly.
