Saint Lucia Neighborhood Community Reporting and Journalism Program

The EDSN Saint Lucia Neighborhood Community Reporting and Journalism Program is a community-centered initiative designed to inform, engage, and empower local voices through experiential storytelling and immersive reporting. The program advances neighborhood quality of life by building trust grounded in respect and shared understanding.

Through fostering constructive dialogue and meaningful Research-to-Practice partnerships, the program supports reporting in areas that community members themselves identify as important—based on the lived situations and contexts in which they find themselves. By centering local knowledge, experience, and perspective, the initiative strengthens civic participation, deepens mutual accountability, and transforms journalism into a collaborative tool for community learning and action.
