Hi sweet friend,
I keep hearing about an interesting phenomenon called “winter” but I’m from California and I now live in Arizona, so every day has been sunny-side up as usual. Though I adore the warmth, I’m envious at times of those who have magical piles of snow surrounding their streets, because it does not feel like winter to me! Not at all.
And speaking of the current season, the next book in the Meadow Hills series will be a winter book (if you haven’t already guessed). I have the cover for it—which is stunning beyond words—but I want to wait until the story is a few drafts further before I share anything. Just know I can’t wait! *squeal*
In other news, 2025 was such a wonderful year, and I’m going to tell you why. I know it’s already nearing the end of January, and I probably should have sent this in December. But here we are! So grab a cozy blanket and something warm to sip, because it’s reflection time for 2025, with some fun hints at what’s coming this year. 😊
I released The Wrong Kind of Falling in September and all the kind responses still regularly have me oozing happiness!
I also re-released my debut, One Carefree Day, with two adorable new covers. (you can check out the new illustrated cover & alternate cover here)
I went to Florida for the first time to attend Romantically Yours Con in August. Fun fact: I also got to meet my best friend Cait Elise there for the first time in real life! And our tables at the signings were right next to each other! Definitely a huge highlight of the year 🥰
I attended Steamy Lit Con in California during Halloween, which was so much fun! I was one of many dressed as Belle. Each and every one of you who stopped by my table made me so happy.
In 2025, I wrote 201,857 words across four projects. One of them was The Wrong Kind of Falling, and the other three are still in the works. I CAN’T WAIT for you to get your hands on them. 🥰💖 I hope you love them as much as I do (which is a lot, so far!)
Before you go, I have some fun book recommendations for you!
(I have not read all these but have been assured they are clean/closed-door romances 🤗)
Thanks for sticking around and spending your time with me on here, and here’s to even more fun this year! 😊❤️🥂
Warm hugs and blessings,
Whitney Amazeen
