Earlier this month, I celebrated three years married (time really does fly when you’re having fun). After our south of France wedding, we hopped on a flight to Tuscany and hid in the hills at the most beautiful and romantic hotel. I remember this trip for the walking tours, shopping, pasta, and a Florentine steak that changed my relationship with steak. But there is one thing about this trip that I reference more than all these other wonderful things: the pizza. Specifically, how to make great pizza. During our trip, we took an hours long pizza and gelato class at a private farm. The lessons I learned there are the ones I turn to most when I am making pizza at home. Pizza date night is still one of my favorites, and hosting a pizza party at home is a great way to keep the pizza Friday tradition of childhood alive for adults.
